Galaxy S8 And S8 + Root And Recovery [ROOT] [TWRP]
Today I will guide you to install Recovery TWRP and ROOT on the Galaxy S8 and S8 + (using Exynos chips).
SUPPORTED MODELS:
- Galaxy S8:
- SM-G950F
- SM-G950FD
- SM-G950L
- SM-G950N
Galaxy S8 Plus:
- SM-G955F
- SM-G955FD
- SM-G955L
- SM-G955N
DOWNLOAD:
- Magisk_Root_Android_Nougat.zip
- TWRP Galaxy S8: twrp-3.1.0-1-dreamlte.img.tar
- TWRP Galaxy S8 +: twrp-3.1.0-1-dream2lte.img.tar
GUIDE:
- Activate Developer Option mode by tapping the Build Number repeatedly in Settings> Device Information
- Activate Oem Unlock
- Download Root Magisk (link above)
- Copy Magisk Root to internal memory
- Download TWRP for Galaxy S8 or S8 +
- Bring your machine to Download Mode by pressing and holding the 3 Power + Home + Volume Down keys -> select Continues
- Open Odin to select AP and path to file TWRP … tar (download above)
- Click START to start flashing
- After the flash is complete, return to recovery mode by turning off the power, press and hold 3 + Home + Volume Up Volume keys
- In TWRP you choose Install , select the Magisk file to install
- The installation process is over, select Reboot system to reboot.
